Hi!
My name is Becky and Welcome to Pawesome Pet Shop.
Coming out of the second lock down unsure if my dog walking business was going to recover fully. I started thinking of ways I could supplement my income with ties to the pet world. Having switched my old Golden Retriever Laddie to raw to combat some obvious sensitivity he had developed , I had already found my self leaning on the Natural side of food & treats. However not a fan of the price tags that came along with the products, I found my new mission.
'To find a way to make the healthier, more natural way more affordable to the everyday person'
Pawesome Buddy Boxes
I came up with the idea of an online subscription box service, Offering Natural treats delivered to your door. I sourced British suppliers using British ingredients. I set about building my website without any prior experience. Soon I applied for a license from Chippenham Council to become a market Trader. As well as local shows and some not so local! All whilst running the dog walking business and working full time within it.
With such great support in Chippenham it seemed only right that when a chance came to get a shop (the one behind my stall) I grabbed it with both hands!
The Shop
After signing the lease on the shop, my wonderfully talented Uncle Ray and I got to work. We had already built a selection of the units at home ready to open as soon as possible. EVERYTHING in the shop you will see is hand made by Uncle Ray! With the help of some amazing people, Within 2 weeks of getting the keys we were open!
You will find Uncle ray working in the shop on a weekly basis along with the occasional shift by my Niece Tash. A truly family run business. Not forgetting me and Flash in the shop most days.
